For three generations, the Vea family of Catalonia has been renowned for advanced organic farming methods. Made from 100% Arbequina varietal olives, L'Estornell oil is delicate, fruity/sweet with a clean, bright deep color. Its slightly almond taste is directly attributable to the local practice of planting almond trees among the olive, a traditional deterrent to insect infestation in northern Spain. This is a certified organic product by the Spanish authority, the Consell Catala de la Produccio Agraria Ecologica. Ideal for use on salads, vegetables, fish, and in soups. Use for most hot dishes!
