Girl Meets Dirt - “Vanilla Plum Medley” Spoon Preserves - 3 oz

This exquisite vanilla bean flecked plum jam is GMD's go-to for die-hard sweet/tart raspberry jam fans — even better, by their account. Features heirloom plums (old school Santa Rosa plums and island Italian plums) infused with exotic organic vanilla beans, with a bit less sugar than usual, leaning tart. A tiny release years ago was wildly popular; it took a few years to find the capacity and sources to expand it into a full flavor.

The tart skin of the plums plays off the tropical notes from the vanilla for a spread-on-everything worthy jam, perfect on toast, baked goods and dessert for a bit of nuanced pucker. Also incredible on a dessert cheese board; the cheese pairing GMD drools over most is a triple creme brie.
