2021 Trosseau Blend (Rockfish) - The Orcas Project
$34.00
Winemakers: Chad & Bree Stock
Grapes: 34% Trousseau, 33% Gamay Noir, 33% Pinot Noir, Eola Springs Vineyard, Eola-Amity Hills AVA, Oregon
ABV: 12.6%
Trosseau is a rare grape found in the Jura region of France. Here it’s blended with Pinot Noir and Gamay Noir to create a very drinkable, light and fresh red wine. You can serve with a slight chill if desired, it will accentuate the acidity. This wine was aged in 100% neutral french oak for 8 months, and then produced without any fining or filtering. This tastes like wild Strawberries, bing cherries and alpine herbs.
Wine Pairing Suggestion: This is a fresh and light. It could pair well with charcuterie boards and roast turkey sandwiches
