The two sisters, Monica and Daniela look after each individual vine with the sole aim of producing excellent fruit. This enthusiasm and commitment mean there is little need for intervention in the cellar. The vineyard work is done by hand with an eye to conserving the environment and landscape.
From the picturesque hillside village of Pocapaglia in Roero, Tibaldi produces a range of wines including this delicious Barbera. Red fruit and cream aromas are followed by a palate of intense red cherry and peppery spice, a lick of cream and some tannic grip on the finish.
